SALES CONTRACT & HEALTH GUARANTEE

THE SALE OF THIS PUREBRED R TEXAS STAR SHIH TZU PUPPY IS MADE UPON THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Buyer understands that all Money placed on puppy is non-refundable. But, is transferable to another litter and is honored for up to one (1) year. Exception is if puppy dies while still with the seller.

To the best of the seller's knowledge and belief, this puppy is in good sound health, free from symptoms of contagious and infectious diseases at the time of sale. No further health guarantee is made or implied. If the buyer believes this puppy to be sick, the animal should be immediately taken to a veterinarian of the buyer's choice.

A one year after sale Replacement Guarantee is given for any life-threatening congenital disease not common to the brachycephalic breeds that caused said puppy to expire. A notarized Veterinarian Report with findings stating, to a medical certainty, that the death was in fact caused from the prenatal state will be required. Buyers will be required to send the notarized Vet's Report by registered mail along with all of the puppy's medical records to the Seller. Sellers Veterinarian must confirm and agree with the diagnosis. The Seller will then give buyer a replacement puppy of equal value and the same gender, from the next available litter. Refusal of such puppy by buyer ends all obligations seller has to buyer. Replacement Warranty will be terminated if puppy was found to be abused, neglected, not current on vaccinations, monthly wormers, flea preventatives, or if puppy has been bred or produced offspring.

As of the date of delivery, the puppy has received proper vaccinations and de-worming in accordance with his/her age. Breeder will provide Buyer with a copy of the puppy’s medical record detailing medical treatment puppy has received under Breeder’s care and future recommended care.

The seller will assume no shipping costs associated with sale or Replacement Guarantee.

The seller assumes no responsibility for medical expenses, mortality, landlord's disapproval, allergy, or any other undesirable circumstances once the dog has left the seller's premises.

No guarantee is made to the size a puppy will grow to, as an adult, it is only an estimate based on seller's experience and traits recognition. No guarantee is made to the color of said dog. Because the breed is normally double-coated, their color may become lighter or darker as they age and grow, and will almost always be lighter if the dog is shaved down, as the undercoat is lighter. No guarantee will be made to fertility if puppy is sold with Full AKC breeding rights.

Buyer agrees to have said puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours after taking possession. This is to protect both the buyer and seller and insure that your puppy is off to a good start. Failure to do so voids this warranty. During this initial exam, should the veterinarian discovers the puppy to be unsound, and unsuitable as a pet, a poor health risk due to congenital or hereditary defects that would require further veterinary care, other than required vaccinations, and de-worming. It will be replaced provided it is returned to the seller within 48 hours of the Buyer’s Vet determination. All veterinary records documenting the condition will also be made available to the seller at the time of or prior to the return. The seller also reserves the right to a second opinion by her own veterinarian and any testing necessary to make an accurate diagnosis of the condition. This guarantee does NOT cover minor conditions such as hernias, pinched nostrils, open fontanels, misaligned teeth, conditions that can be brought on by stress, or exposure to adverse conditions that can cause worms, coccidiosis, giardia, hypoglycemia, viral or bacterial infections.

Bu​​yer agrees to have said puppy spayed or neutered by the time the puppy is 7 months old. Failure to do so voids this warranty!

​We reserve the right to terminate this sale / guarantee if all the conditions of the contract are not met. If you are no longer able to assume responsibility for your puppy, we will be more than happy to take the puppy/dog back (without compensation) and find a suitable home for it. We do not want any of our babies ending up in a shelter or pound!

Guarantee applies to the original buyer only, and is not transferable if puppy is resold.

Signature of buyer below constitutes their acknowledgement, understanding, and agreement to terms of this contract.

Buyer and seller will not rely on verbal or written statements not contained herein.
